Meet Martin O. Kirk

Attorney Martin O. Kirk brings over 32 years of legal experience. Mr. Kirk is also our proud military veteran, having served our country as an Air Force Officer Pilot.

My primary reason for my becoming an attorney was to practice in the area of criminal defense. I have had numerous successful jury trials defending my clients accused of crimes. I have handled all types of criminal cases, from violence, drug cases, criminal sexual conduct, and OUIL cases, down to simple traffic cases. 

I have over 30 years of experience in the State and Federal trial courts. Significant cases include Michiana Abortion Clinic vs. Northeast Indiana Operation Rescue, involving claims of Racketeering RICO and violations of the Klu Klux Klan Act. Other cases in Federal Court, Conspiracy to Distribute Narcotics, Maintaining a Crack House, Interstate Trafficking and Sales of Narcotics, Interstate Transport of Stolen Goods, etc. Routinely handle criminal and traffic matters in Michigan counties of Berrien, Cass, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, and Allegan, in Indiana counties of St. Joseph, Elkhart, LaPorte, Porter, Lake, Marshall, and LaGrange. Also, in Illinois, the County of Cook or local suburban counties.

Personal Profile

Military Veteran

I have over seven years of experience as an Air Force Officer Pilot and hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with over 3,300 hours in flight and 40+ hours in combat.

Artist & Sculptor

I am a professional artist creating ceramic and mixed media sculptures. I also do custom tiles for kitchens, bathrooms, and fireplace mantles. I work out of my home and ceramic studio at the Krasl Art Center, Saint Joseph, Michigan.

I have been in numerous juried art shows at the Krasl Art Center, Box Factory of the Arts, Saint Joseph, Midwest Museum of American Art in Elkhart, IN, and the Beverly Art Center, Chicago, Illinois.

I've also won 1st place in a nationwide National Veterans Arts Contest.

My work is available for viewing by appointment.

Yoga Teacher, RYT500

I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and have been a certified yoga teacher since 2004; and formerly taught at the Krasl Art Center. I am available for private lessons at my yoga studio or the client's home. ($25.00/hour)
